Who We Are

Fox River is a leading U.S. manufacturer of outdoor, sport and lifestyle performance socks since 1900. Fox River is privately owned and operates a hosiery mill in Osage, Iowa at the heart of the country. The central location of the mill helps Fox River offer quick, convenient deliveries across the country and around the globe. Fox River’s premium and performance socks are manufactured at its Iowa headquarters by 200 of the friendliest, hard-working folks you’ll ever meet. Fox River socks have been made in the USA since 1900 utilizing US and imported yarns. We're committed to remaining American-made.

Our Commitment

The Fox River brand is known for its commitment to innovative sock construction and continuous attention to trends in the marketplace. Notably, the brand introduced its signature Wick Dry® moisture management technology in 1985 to help keep feet dry and reduce the moisture build-up that can lead to hot spots and blisters. In 2000, Fox River launched the industry’s first women’s specific-fit performance sock line with smaller toe boxes and heel pockets to better fit women’s feet.

These are the best!

These are the best, most comfortable socks I've ever owned. I've been wearing these socks for well over a decade, and they last forever. I can't wear wool, so I'm so happy that these socks continue to be available. But please please please bring back the tan color!!! White socks are only acceptable if you're wearing white slacks. Black socks are too dark if you're wearing anything lighter than navy blue or dark grey pants. The tan color was just perfect with almost any other color of pants....

Love these socks

I have worn this brand and style of socks for at least 7 - 8 years. It is the only brand and style that is comfortable to me and wears great!

I have 3 pairs of the tan-colored socks (which I assume they no longer carry). I have had them for about 5 years and have worn each pair hundreds of times. They just don't seem to wear out! I have not had them stretch or shrink.
I ordered 3 more pairs (black) and they fit perfectly! You can wear these during the summer and they do not make you sweat. These are, hands down, my favorite socks ever!

Wish that you still had them in khaki and not just white and black
