Fox River is a leading U.S. manufacturer of outdoor, sport and lifestyle performance socks since 1900. Fox River is privately owned and operates a hosiery mill in Osage, Iowa at the heart of the country. The central location of the mill helps Fox River offer quick, convenient deliveries across the country and around the globe. Fox River’s premium and performance socks are manufactured at its Iowa headquarters by 200 of the friendliest, hard-working folks you’ll ever meet. Fox River socks have been made in the USA since 1900 utilizing US and imported yarns. We're committed to remaining American-made.
The Fox River brand is known for its commitment to innovative sock construction and continuous attention to trends in the marketplace. Notably, the brand introduced its signature Wick Dry® moisture management technology in 1985 to help keep feet dry and reduce the moisture build-up that can lead to hot spots and blisters. In 2000, Fox River launched the industry’s first women’s specific-fit performance sock line with smaller toe boxes and heel pockets to better fit women’s feet.
Great gift idea for the wife she wears them all the time now!
I love the socks and can’t wait to turn them into monkeys. It should be a real kick and a great addition to the collection.
But I truly miss the Socks by the Pound! I am trying to wait patiently for them to be available again. It’s hard to have to purchase the socks for 2 pair at $14.00, but I do. I haven’t raised my prices on my monkeys either.
But on the other hand this has pushed me to try new socks for the monkeys. The colored socks red, yellow, green, blue, and pink have gone over very well. So adding the Tie Dye, I know, will be a hit too. I may never have looked at those socks because I was so focused on Socks by the Pound.
I have many pairs of Fox River socks for myself..all of them super! This year Fox River socks will go in Christmas packages.
I bought these to make sock monkeys for my daughters, but they are so soft and nice, I'm thinking I need a pair to wear! Maybe 2 or 3!
I’ve worn the red heel sox for about 30 years. No they don’t last that long, but they are super comfortable and they are light weight cotton which are very hard to find. If you are like me and can’t stand synthetic textiles on your skin all day you should try the red heel “crafting” sox. also the tie dye look is pretty cool.
